At present, in my country's food packaging, metal packaging accounts for 8%-10%, paper packaging accounts for 32%-35%, glass packaging accounts for 4%-6%, and plastic packaging accounts for more than 50%. According to statistics, my country uses 5-8 plastic packaging bags per person every day, most of which are disposable plastic bags. The annual consumption of disposable plastic packaging bags in China is about 1 million tons. Food packaging is conservatively estimated to exceed 2 million tons.

Faced with this shocking data, it is imperative to promote green packaging, and pearl cotton packaging has received more and more attention.

EPE packaging material: beautiful, environmentally friendly and degradable

EPE, also known as epe, is composed of low-density polyvinyl ester through physical foaming to produce many independent bubbles. It is a more advanced environmentally friendly packaging material in the world.

The appearance of pearl cotton is white, light and flexible, and has high resilience. It can also be compounded with other materials such as aluminum film, PE film, and bubble film to further improve performance.

It takes about 100-200 years for ordinary polyethylene plastic to degrade. It takes too long and the amount of plastic waste generated every day is extremely large, and it has to be changed. In addition to being recycled for secondary processing, the EPE material has a very short degradation time, about 6-24 months, which can almost achieve zero pollution to the environment.

Green environmental protection has always been the concept we advocate. I believe that with the joint efforts of everyone, pearl cotton packaging will be more used and make greater contributions to environmental protection.
